Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 5, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Jack-High Software LLC ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the FoamCalc mobile application (the "App"), available for iOS and Android, and this companion website, foamcalc.com (the "Site"). It does not apply to any other Jack-High Software LLC product, each of which maintains its own separate privacy policy.

This website itself collects no personal information: it has no account system, no forms, and sets no cookies. Its light/dark appearance simply follows your device's or browser's own display setting, which the Site reads but never stores. If you email us, we receive whatever information you include in that message and use it only to respond to you.

No accounts, no login, no sign-up

FoamCalc has no user accounts of any kind. You are never asked to register, sign in, or provide a username, password, or profile of any kind to use the App.

Your calculation and job data stays on your device

Saved calculations, multi-zone jobs, job templates, your yield log entries, and your reference-data overrides (loss factors, yields, R-values, production rates) are all stored locally on your device only. None of this data is transmitted to Jack-High Software LLC, to any server we operate, or to any third party. There is no cloud sync, no backup service, and no server-side copy of your data anywhere. If you export a bid package as a PDF or CSV, that file is generated on your device and shared only through the share method you explicitly choose (for example, email, messaging, or AirDrop) — we never see or receive a copy.

Advertising (free tier only)

The free tier of FoamCalc displays banner advertisements served through Google's AdMob SDK. Pro subscribers and lifetime-purchase users never see ads.

FoamCalc requests only non-personalized ads from AdMob (technically, every ad request sets nonPersonalizedAds: true). AdMob may still process basic device and request information — such as a device or advertising identifier, IP-derived approximate location, and app usage context — to serve an ad, prevent fraud, and measure delivery, even for a non-personalized request; this is standard behavior of the AdMob SDK itself and is not something FoamCalc configures beyond requesting the non-personalized mode.

On iOS, FoamCalc does not use Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework and does not show the "Allow Tracking" permission prompt, because the App does not request permission to track you across other companies' apps or websites. The App contains no code that calls Apple's tracking-authorization API.

You can review Google's own privacy policy for how the AdMob SDK collects and uses data at policies.google.com/privacy, and Google's advertising-specific policy at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. You can reset or limit your device's advertising identifier at any time in your device's own settings: on Android, Settings → Google → Ads; on iOS, Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking (and, separately, Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising).

In-app purchases

FoamCalc's paid tier (monthly subscription, annual subscription, or one-time lifetime purchase) is billed and processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play, using the payment method already on file with your Apple ID or Google account. Jack-High Software LLC never sees, receives, or stores your payment card number or other billing details — that information is held exclusively by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies.

Location data

FoamCalc does not collect, request, or use your device's location.

Personal information

FoamCalc does not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal identifier. The optional "business details" fields in Settings (business name, phone, license number) are stored locally on your device only, for the sole purpose of printing them on your own exported bid packages — they are never transmitted anywhere.

Children's privacy

FoamCalc is a professional estimating tool intended for contractors and is not directed at children. Its declared audience is adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data deletion

Because FoamCalc has no accounts and stores no data on any server, there is no server-side record to request deletion of. All App data is removed automatically if you uninstall the App, or you can clear it manually beforehand through your device's own app-storage settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the App changes. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date above.
